Our boards are made from PHA, a natural bioplastic grown by bacteria, not made from oil. It’s food-safe, biodegradable, and completely microplastic-free.
PHA (Polyhydroxyalkanoate) is a polymer created naturally by microorganisms. It behaves like plastic but is made by nature, and returns to nature when its job is done.
Yes. Microorganisms convert plant-based sugars into PHA inside their cells. We simply harvest and form it, no fossil fuels involved.
Absolutely. It’s 100% food-safe, toxin-free, and BPA-free.
No. That’s the difference. Even if tiny particles wear off, they’re natural and biodegradable, not microplastics.
Nothing harmful. PHA breaks down naturally, even inside the human body, exactly as it does in nature.
Depending on the environment, a few months, in soil, compost, or seawater. When it’s done, it’s gone.
Use & care
Yes. It can handle the dishwasher, though gentle handwashing keeps it beautiful for longer.
No. The surface is smooth and knife-friendly, kinder than wood or glass.

Warm water and mild soap are enough. For deeper cleaning, use lemon or vinegar.
Yes. It’s hygienic and non-porous. Still, we recommend rinsing between uses, good kitchen habits never hurt.
It handles warm temperatures well, but avoid placing boiling pots or pans directly on it.
