Under the GDPR, businesses must have a valid legal basis for processing personal data.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract

We need certain data to process your order, arrange payment, ship your product, and provide customer service.

Legal obligation

We are legally required to keep certain data for tax, accounting, and administrative purposes.

We use consent for newsletter subscriptions and for certain cookies or tracking technologies, where required.

Legitimate interest

We may use certain data to improve our webshop, prevent fraud, secure our website, and respond to customer questions.

5. Webshop Platform: Shopify

Our webshop is built and hosted on Shopify.

Shopify helps us operate the webshop, process orders, manage checkout, store order information, and provide the technical infrastructure for our online store. Shopify may process personal data such as your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, order details, payment status, IP address, and device information.

Shopify provides privacy and GDPR-related tools for merchants, including customer privacy settings, privacy policy configuration, cookie banner options, and data request tools. Shopify also notes that using Shopify alone does not automatically make a webshop GDPR-compliant, so the store owner remains responsible for proper configuration and use.

  • iDEAL

  • Bancontact

  • Credit card
