At BitByBit, we design our cutting boards to be durable, practical, and suitable for everyday kitchen use. Each board is produced with care in the Netherlands and checked before shipping.

Warranty Period

BitByBit cutting boards come with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material defects under normal household use.

What Is Covered

The warranty covers defects such as:

  • Manufacturing faults

  • Material defects

  • Structural issues that occur under normal use

  • Problems caused by a production error

If your product has a valid warranty issue, we will assess the situation and offer a suitable solution. This may include a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the case.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cuts, scratches, or marks from knives

  • Improper use

  • Exposure to excessive heat

  • Use in dishwashers above the recommended temperature

  • Warping caused by high temperatures

  • Dropping, impact, or misuse

  • Use in ovens, microwaves, grills, or near open flames

  • Commercial or professional use, unless agreed otherwise in writing

BitByBit cutting boards are dishwasher-safe, but we recommend using dishwasher programs up to 60°C. Higher temperatures may affect the shape of the board.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a warranty issue, please contact us at:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A short description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product

  • Photos of the packaging, if relevant

Assessment

Each warranty claim is reviewed individually. If the issue is covered by the warranty, we will offer a suitable solution.

If the issue is caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, or use outside our care instructions, the warranty claim may be rejected.

Legal Rights

This warranty is in addition to your legal consumer rights. Nothing in this warranty limits the rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Kickstarter Orders

If you received your BitByBit cutting board through Kickstarter, please contact us with your Kickstarter backer details. Kickstarter rewards are handled separately from webshop orders, but we will always review product issues carefully.
